Mortar Analysis

Hitting a milestone this week in Stoneware with our 1,000th sample of mortar analysed in Ireland. A LOT of work over 20 years has gone into assessing and understanding historic mortars from Derry City Walls to Mizen Lighthouse, across the Armada ballast of wreckage off Inisbofin, Co. Galway to Magazine Fort in Phoenix Park.

And it’s busier now than ever with 3 months fully booked in advance, but if you want help understanding what mortar you have do get in touch.
