- Consolidant, based on ethyl silicate, specifically designed for the restoration of natural stones and other absorbent mineral materials, which degrade easily due to atmospheric agents.
- Thanks to its high penetrating power, the product reaches the healthy core of the material, where it reacts with the ambient humidity and binds the material, thus consolidating the surface.
- Total drying, without formation of sticky substances.
- Complete impregnation, non-film forming and with good water vapour permeability.
- UV-stable mineral binder, which cannot be attacked by atmospheric agents.
- There are no chromatic alterations in the treated material, nor whitening on the surface, after complete consolidation reaction
- Fully compatible with TECNAN’s hydrophobic solutions based on nanoparticles..
How to use
- Surface preparation: Before application, surface must be completely clean and dry. It is recommended to apply it at a temperature between 10-25°C.
- Application: Shake the container vigorously. Apply the product by spraying at low pressure (0.5 bar maximum) or by immersion. The material must be completely saturated with the product to facilitate its penetration into the healthy nucleus of the material.
- Consolidation time: For optimal results, wait 4 weeks at room temperature of 20°C and a relative humidity of 40-50%.
