Algae Rem will kill all living organisms, mildews, algae, and spores on the masonry surface. It does not clean dirty masonry. After sterilizing the surface will not leave algacidal agents in the masonry. It is one of the active agents named in the BRE digest for the control of algae, lichens, and mosses in masonry. It removes undesirable and unsightly growths effortlessly from masonry and painted surfaces.
How to use
Any large organic deposits should be removed either by scraper or by use of power jet spray before the chemical is applied. After power water jetting, 1-2 hours drain down time should be allowed. Apply the product as supplied either by brush or by low pressure air spray (taking due care), to give a good coating over the masonry surface. The product can be left to weather away or after 1-2 hours the surface may be power water jetted off.
