SecilTek Reabilita Cal FX application over lime-based mortars and slabs

  • Size 25 kg
  • Coverage Approximately 5 m² @ an average of 3 mm using a notched trowel.
  • Tile thickness Suitable for floor tiles up to 15 mm thick.
  • Colour Beige

Do not dot and dab the tiles / floor, but rather cover the entire substrate and the back of the tile to be bonded, 3 mm on each surface.

The adhesive may be walked on or further worked after a period of 24 to 48 hours following application. However, this time frame depends primarily on the ambient temperature and the climatic conditions of the surrounding environment. In warmer and drier conditions, the setting time tends to be closer to 24 hours, whereas in cooler or more humid environments, it may extend to 48 hours or slightly more. We always recommend verifying the surface hardness and adhesion before proceeding with any subsequent steps.

It should not be applied at a relative humidity of more than 70% or when room and / or substrate temperature is below 5° C or above 30° C. No bonding or grouting should be carried out outdoors in adverse weather conditions, such as rain, strong winds, or intense sunlight, during or within 24 hours of application. In cases of wind exposure, facades should be protected in order to minimize its action.

Decoupling Membranes

Please note that Cal FX is generally not recommended for use with decoupling membranes. Lime-based adhesives may not bond well to the surface of decoupling membranes, potentially leading to delamination. Additionally, using a decoupling membrane with lime based finished could negatively impact the breathability of the finished surface.
