Lime Putty, a form of high-calcium lime, is supplied as a suspension of lime in water. Stoneware Studios stock Cor Castle Lime Putty & Roundtower Lime Putty. All our Lime Putty is allowed to mature for 6 months (at least) to allow for a first class quality product. |
Our Lime Putty can be mixed with a range of aggregates appropriate to the application or can be purchased as part of a pre-mixed lime mortar supplied in 1 tonne bulk bags. Special mortar mixes are held in stock for all building needs, including pointing, rendering, setting and harling. |

The purest of Irish limestone is selected and quarried, burnt and slaked to a milk of lime, carefully sieved, stored in arks to allow to mature for over three months to enhance its plasticity and finally packaged in sealed heavy-duty tubs suitable for on-site handling. |
